Andrew Weeden :: Keyboards
    • Hi - are you the Andrew Weeden I know/knew?

      -----

      Hi Lynette - Yes I think I am! You used to work with Trevor B at CDS right? Use my Contact Page - would be great to hear from you. Andrew

    • Andrew Weeden is, without a doubt, one of the best musicians I've ever worked with. A brilliant pianist, his interpretations of John Paul Jones' synth work were always dead-on. With Andrew on keys and our own "Brian Paul Jones" on bass, it gave the expression "keeping up with the Joneses" a whole new meaning. And it enabled us to adhere to album versions and actually be able to execute them appropriately on stage, something the real Zeppelin never did. But when it comes to songs they never performed live ("D'Yer Ma'ker", "Fool In The Rain", etc) Andrew made this possible. We'll always be grateful for his contributions to our show.

      And he's funny as hell, too. The British sense of humour (for lack of a better way to put it) is even funnier in person. Andrew always kept us laughing, *and* was extraordinarily encouraging, with a Christ-like sense of patience, as he helped coach us (a bunch of Okies) with our feigned British accents. Poor fellow. I hope we didn't frustrate him too much!

      We miss Andrew, and while we've had to replace him with another fellow doing keys off-stage, we look forward to his next visit to the Sooner state.

      Best of luck to you, Andrew, and for God's sake, keep in touch, mate!!

    • Well, what can I say? Andy loves his job and it shows! A true perfectionist, always working hard to make sure he delivers on his promises.

      You deserve to do well Andy! Keep up the great work!

    • With little more than a few weeks notice Andrew sat in and performed a full blown Rock Opera chock full of cues and other pitfalls and he was flawless.

      He is a great guy to work with --not at all the typical nutcase that Keyboard players are normally --- Ha Ha..

      He fit into the gig like he had been with us for years and he turned us into Gum Junkies to boot.. Hire him and you'll find out why..

      There is no one else that I would rather have fill in for my show --THE DEAD RINGER FROM HELL -- than Andrew.
